Now residing in Sandpoint, Idaho with her wonder dog Emmi, Stephanie Wilson enjoys all that mountain living offers, whether it’s hiking, backpacking, sailing, or slaying the pow at a nearby ski resort. She’s been an Outings backpack leader and assistant in the High Sierra, Big Sur, and Rocky Mountains since 1997. She has served in a number of Outing Committee roles, and is currently chair of the Rocky Mountain Subcommittee. She enjoys inspiring participants by sharing her joy of the wilderness and improving their backcountry skills and knowledge. She is a certified Wilderness First Responder.
