Tamara Kurtz has been a Sierra Club National Outings Leader since 2004. She has led backcountry base camp outings in areas such as the Ansel Adams Wilderness. In addition, she has led lodge-based hiking outings in California’s Sierra Nevada. Tamara lives in the Southwest where she is an active hiker and cyclist. She is a graduate of the 2008 Sierra Club National Outing Training Trip and is a certified Wilderness First Responder.
