Tim Bernthal had an unforgettable Sierra Club Service Trip to Denali National Park many years ago, and now newly retired, has time for more Service Trip experience. Living in the Seattle/Puget Sound area, Tim's had access to mountain hiking, cross-country skiing, and biking on a regular basis. He also loves the hiking opportunities in the Southwest and the California Coast and will be visiting those areas over the next years through the Service Trip structure. Some of his work experience included food system work, nutrition education, and farm to food bank opportunities, and cooking has always been one of his interests. Tim looks forward to the challenges of food planning, purchasing, and cooking for groups of fellow Sierra Club volunteers.
