Vernon Cook, a native Nebraskan, has been an obstetrician on the University of Louisville medical school faculty since 1990. Some of his other interests include running, helping with corn harvest on his family’s farm in Nebraska, working on his 120 year-old house, folk music and leading service trips, particularly to Hells Canyon, Idaho, and Mammoth Cave, Kentucky.
