William Moore

Will Moore learned to backpack as a teenager in Idaho’s Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness Area. A few years ago he retired after a long career with the Education Associations in Colorado, Wyoming, and Arizona. He now spends winter months as a volunteer interpreter at Tonto National Monument in Arizona, leading archaeological tours and the occasional bird walk. Travel fills the balance of the year; the trips are often connected with historical research and writing. The Sierra Club service trip to Chaco Canyon, New Mexico, is an annual highlight. Will lives with his wife Jonelle in Mesa, Arizona.
