The Wildlands and Wilderness Team is sponsoring a training for wild lands activists, and those ready to become wild lands activists, this Oct. 16-18 in Seattle, WA.
Join us for September's 2nd Wednesday Webinar, hosted by the Grassroots Network Support Team. This session focuses on Campaign Planning, why it's important, and using it to chart your course, build power and organize to win. You'll learn about the Club's campaign planning matrix ---- the same proven methodology used by our Organizing Team and other Club leaders -- and how to apply it to your own issue campaign. We'll be sure to leave time for questions and answers, too!
The Grassroots Network has a small amount of grant funds available to support work that will be completed by Dec. 31, 2015. As with our other Grassroots Network grants, we are especially interested in proposals that deal with national or regional issues, reach out to new communities, promote new or innovative approaches to meeting a conservation goal, and/or could serve as an example that other entities could apply to their own conservation issues.
Any Sierra Club entity is welcome to apply providing they meet the following requirements.
This month's Grassroots Network webinar, Sierra Club Organizing 101, will be July 8, at 5 p.m. PT / 6 p.m. MT / 7 p.m. CT / 8 p.m. ET.
