Curtis Gekle was introduced to Sierra Club National Outings on a Sierra backpack in the early 90s. Since that time, he has backpacked in New Mexico, Grand Canyon, Yosemite, Escalante UT, White Mountains NH, and other adventurous locations. Backpacking, sailing, biking, and playing racquet sports are some of the passions that he enjoys. Curtis previously worked in executive roles within high tech and as an educator, but now he focuses his time on outdoor pursuits while residing in the Boston area.
