Jane Jontz has led twenty Sierra Club trips of either sea kayaking or backpacking. The wilderness is one of her favorite places to be on the planet and she loves sharing her passion for it with trip participants. She has gained experience in sea kayaking and kayak rescue at Castine, Maine. She has also led trips for Sierra Club in Yosemite, Point Reyes National Seashore, the Trinity Alps, Pioneer Basin, the San Juan Islands, Isle Royale, and the Allagash Wilderness Waterway. In addition to leading Sierra Club National Outings, Jane is also a National Ski Patroller and triathlete. She is a Wilderness First Responder.
