Rudy Scheffer is originally from Germany and has lived in the US for many years. His love of the outdoors and worldwide travel started when he was an exchange student in England and France. He has traveled and led trips in over 60 countries. He is a retired IT Manager, present owner of KompuPix and former owner of an Adventure Travel Company. He has been an active Sierra Club Outings Leader since 1988, and an active member in the Florida Chapter Executive Committee, where he has served as Chapter Chair and present Outings Chair and was instrumental in starting the Puerto Rico Chapter Outings Program.
