Growing up in the Sonoran Desert of the Southwest exposed Anna Morenz to adventurous, arid canyon backpacking, year-round rock climbing, and magnificent sunsets that have instilled in her a lifelong love for being in the outdoors. She has been assistant leader on backpacking trips in Dark Canyon, UT and Wind Rivers, WY with the Sierra Club, and also has experience leading and organizing climbing trips with the Dartmouth Mountaineering Club. Her hope is that both formal and informal outdoors trips spark within us not only joy and wonder, but a renewed commitment to protect the natural environment and the living creatures we share this Earth with. She currently resides in Seattle, WA, where she is a first-year resident in internal medicine.
