Carol Reeb

Carol Reeb’s early backpacking experience began in the Appalachian, Blue Ridge, and Shenandoah Mountains as well as the Hawaiian Islands. She was a Peace Corps volunteer in Cameroon (West Africa) and after moving to California, she spent time exploring Sierra Mountains and Big Sur coast. Her favorite destinations are the Ansel Adams Wilderness in the Sierra high-country and Pt. Reyes National Seashore. Carol is a marine biologist working at a small marine station in California and enjoys sharing information about the ocean, mountains, and the species inhabiting both with others. She is certified in CPR, Wilderness First Aid, and is a Wilderness First Responder. Carol also recently completed a two-part, six-day training program in stream bioassessment sponsored by the California State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) and Cal. Dept. of Fish and Wildlife in their College of Bioassessment (COB) program.
