George Ripplinger has led Sierra Club trips in the Rockies, the Sierras, the Southwest and Hawaii. This will be his first trip close to home. He has also backpacked and trekked in the Alps, Patagonia and Nepal. George is a Wilderness First Responder and a Leave No Trace Instructor. He has been backpacking since a boy, his first long term trip at Philmont Scout Ranch years ago.
