James Gifford was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest and has hiked among its forests and mountains all of his life. He has been both leader and participant on many Sierra Club outings in the region including trips to Mount Rainier. With an interest in fitness and photography James enjoys helping others experience the beauty of the wilderness in a fun and safe manner.
