Jordan Rowe loves to be outside in nature as much as he can. He has been a local leader with the NW Cook Chapter in Illinois since 2010 and enjoys leading extended weekend backpacking trips across the Midwest and has also assisted on day hikes and a canoe trip. He enjoys hiking and camping with his wife and two young kids, traveling both within the US and abroad, nature and wildlife photography, hunting, and playing golf. He is a project manager with Tallgrass Restoration, a private ecological restoration company in Wisconsin specializing in prairie restoration and invasive species control. Conducting prescribed burns on over a thousand acres of prairie, woodland, and wetland habitats annually is a favorite part of his job.
