Zack Deutsch-Gross took his first Sierra Club trip to Alaska at age 14, and began leading trips for the Sierra Club at 18. Over a decade later, he continues to lead in California and Alaska and is the national co-chair of Sierra Club Outings’ Young Leader and Participant Support Committee. When not in the backcountry, you can find him hiking with his partner and dog in the Bay Area.
