Paul A. LaQuatra enjoys the camaraderie and the environmental-stewardship quality of service trips. He has led Service trips and other types of Sierra Club outings to various regions of the country. He has been an outdoors enthusiast all his life, and a trail biker/hiker/kayaker no matter when or where he stops. A retired teacher, he now uses those educator skills as a member of the Sierra Club’s National Outings Leader Training team, a position that allows him to teach and to enjoy working with others in outdoor settings with the ultimate goal of furthering participants’ engagement in the environment and conservation. The abundance of nature is a perpetual gift to all living creatures and to the human spirit, and we must protect it for future generations.
